Each patient is matched with a set of doctors according to the patient’s healthcare preferences and needs, as well as doctors’ care delivery style and expertise. Several datasets are analyzed, including: quality measures, national rankings, online reviews, and proprietary machine learning models of doctor quality.

We do not believe in good and bad doctors at SmartDocFinder; rather we believe in good and bad doctors for each unique patient.

Patient preferences are modeled by over 30 dimensions in our patent-pending matching algorithms. Examples include: gender, wait time, distance, medical school ranking, and staff politeness; as well as attitudes on complementary medicine, information sharing, decision making, and self-management.
